HACKATHON VENUE

HSBC Service Delivery (Polska) Sp z o. o.

ul. Kapelanka 42A, 30-347 Kraków, Poland

HOW TO GET TO

Public transport

There are 7 tram and 5 bus lines stopping next to Kapelanka 42A enabling one to travel from nearly every part of Kraków and surrounding towns – lines no 11, 12, 18, 22, 52, 62 and 194 stop at “Kobierzynska” stop, whereas lines 23, 106, 166, 178, 608 stop at “Lipinskiego” stop. During the day trams are frequent, running approximately every 10 minutes. Buses operate less frequently.

Taxi

Taxis in Kraków are very easy to use. It is advised to have the place you wish to be taken to written down ensuring you have the building number, as for a non-native Polish speaker, getting the pronunciation of the street correct can be very difficult.

You should expect to pay around 2,30 PLN per kilometre plus initial fare of 7 PLN. As a rule, 25 PLN should get you to every place with the Old Town (including Main Railway Station) from the HSBC office. A journey to Kraków Airport should cost around 50 PLN. At night and on Sundays, fares increase by up to 50%.

We recommend Wawel Taxi: (+48) 012 19666 – if you mention you work for HSBC when booking the taxi, you will receive a 10% discount.

This can be used whenever you use Wawel taxis.
